Baby Afghan, bigger crochet hooks and Knit stitching!
So thanks to no help from the internet, I'm told that a baby blanket should be 3 by 2 foot....YEAH RIGHT! It doesn't seem big enough for the baby. Maybe a blanket just to lay over them but not a wrap. So this is very frustrating.
I should have already had this one done but with my lack of motivation and the rush rush rush of loads I haven't had a lot of time.
Its not that I don't want to work on it, I do! I want to get it to my friend as soon as possible. ARRRGGG! So I am in Kansas City KS waiting to deliver my load of cheese. It doesn't deliver till 2:30 am so now I can't sleep. I am all crochet out for now. I can't wait to go home for a few days because I will get the baby afghan done and mailed and I will be able to finish my poodle after I buy eyes for it...
I cannot work on just one project. I currently have 4 going on right now. My pink and lavender afghan that I'm making for my bed in the truck. The pomp-a-poodle by Red Heart (or Coats and Clarks). Nae's baby afghan...and my red afghan that I was making with Premier Yarns that I may end up redoing with a different size hook.
OMG speaking of crochet hooks. I bought a N hook when I was at home last time. It was plastic which I have never tried before. I LOVE the bigger hooks. See its all Michelle's fault. She was making Pierre an afghan and she was all bragging about using a bigger hook, so I decided that I need to try a bigger one myself. I am in love with it. LOL
Now the next project that I want to try is the Tunisian crochet. I tried it today with one of my smaller hooks I really think its cool how it looks. So I'm going to go to Micheal's (because we don't got to Hobby Lobby any more due to them removing most of Red Heart yarns from there shelves and replacing it a more expensive version of their own). I want to find a long crochet hook just for the Tunisian Crocheting so I can make a few scarves with it. It seems easier to maybe do a scarf because it looks like it will be more even on stitches.
I am really happy that I found a new love for crocheting. Thanks to the world of the internet we can communicate others peoples views of how to crochet in a whole new way.
