Baby Yoda

It has been a while since I've posted and A LOT has changed. I no longer drive truck and I miss it, however I have something to look forward to. I am 17 weeks pregnant now. I didn't want to post anything till I was settled and knew what we were going to do.
I moved to Stonewall, LA with Jeremy (the daddy) and we live in his mom's old home. We live out a ways from Shreveport, but not too far.
We have been going to church lately and trying to find Jeremy a job. Jobs are hard to find right now.

I am still crocheting, just not as much as I was. I will be doing more soon. We are still trying to get the house organized and get the baby room organized.

Kansas City

I am back at this lovely town. NOT! I really think this is a trashy city. I was trying to sleep but however I have had two lot lizards (prostitute) knock on my door. The second one I just lost it on her. I come out of the sleeper and opened my door and started screaming at her.
She literally was banging on my door and when I didn't answer she did it again this is why I came unglued. I asked her if she had her brains screwed out of her. She said No. I asked her if she wanted me to beat them out of her. Of course she said no (damn) I told her to never bang, knock or come near my truck again or I would beat her senseless. I did have my bat in my hand so she was afraid. HA HA HA feel my wrath. j/k

Good Freaking Grief... I cannot stand it. You know knock on the door once if you don't see someone try to get up then move on. OH I forgot your on CRACK!

So thats my rant for the night. Just trucking it up. Im thinking of Vloging soon. I don't know. I feel that reading is so overrated now lol.

Remember Me SPOILER ALERT

This was suppose to be a good movie. It was until the ending. Are you kidding me why don't we just kill Rob Pattinson in the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. That is a PERFECT ending... NOT

I thought this was a love story instead its a heart breaker. Why don't you show a woman losing her love in Iraq? Not in the 9/11 attack. I am so upset with this movie and more disappointing that that is I paid $20.00 for it and I contributed money to the douchbag that thought this would be a good movie.

Baby Afghan, bigger crochet hooks and Knit stitching!

So thanks to no help from the internet, I'm told that a baby blanket should be 3 by 2 foot....YEAH RIGHT! It doesn't seem big enough for the baby. Maybe a blanket just to lay over them but not a wrap. So this is very frustrating.

I should have already had this one done but with my lack of motivation and the rush rush rush of loads I haven't had a lot of time.
Its not that I don't want to work on it, I do! I want to get it to my friend as soon as possible. ARRRGGG! So I am in Kansas City KS waiting to deliver my load of cheese. It doesn't deliver till 2:30 am so now I can't sleep. I am all crochet out for now. I can't wait to go home for a few days because I will get the baby afghan done and mailed and I will be able to finish my poodle after I buy eyes for it...

I cannot work on just one project. I currently have 4 going on right now. My pink and lavender afghan that I'm making for my bed in the truck. The pomp-a-poodle by Red Heart (or Coats and Clarks). Nae's baby afghan...and my red afghan that I was making with Premier Yarns that I may end up redoing with a different size hook.

OMG speaking of crochet hooks. I bought a N hook when I was at home last time. It was plastic which I have never tried before. I LOVE the bigger hooks. See its all Michelle's fault. She was making Pierre an afghan and she was all bragging about using a bigger hook, so I decided that I need to try a bigger one myself. I am in love with it. LOL

Now the next project that I want to try is the Tunisian crochet. I tried it today with one of my smaller hooks I really think its cool how it looks. So I'm going to go to Micheal's (because we don't got to Hobby Lobby any more due to them removing most of Red Heart yarns from there shelves and replacing it a more expensive version of their own). I want to find a long crochet hook just for the Tunisian Crocheting so I can make a few scarves with it. It seems easier to maybe do a scarf because it looks like it will be more even on stitches.

I am really happy that I found a new love for crocheting. Thanks to the world of the internet we can communicate others peoples views of how to crochet in a whole new way.

Snowed On 5/28/10

This was in Donners Pass around Lake Tahoe, California. Its been a rush this last few weeks. I've been working harder then I ever have. Just in time freight running from one end of the country to the next. I am in Salinas California now and about to head for Springfield Missouri. I will be going home soon for 4 days to help out my parents. My Dad is having problems with his colon and has to get a colonoscopy. ( I know I can't spell and spell checker doesn't know what I'm talking about!) So I have to go home and help with my brother for a few days while he recoups. So my boyfriend and I are now looking for a place in Perkins. I can't wait for us to get us a home! Somewhere I can go for a few days and actually sleep for two days if I want. He is a sweetheart. He helped me pay my phone bill this month. He does what he can to help me and it just amazes me that I actually found someone that loves me!

New Blankie

I crochet a wonderful hat for my boyfriends mom. Its purple and pink with a pink ribbon on it for breast cancer awareness. I will soon have pictures of it and the baby blanket I finally finished up soon!!!

At Home

We thought my Dad had to have his appendix taken out last Thursday. The doctors still don't know what caused his pain but it is easing off. I am going to go back to work tomorrow with the hopes that soon I will be a team with my boyfriend. I'm having a few issues with miles and keeping things running smoothly with my own truck so I asked my boyfriend to think about it and to tell me what he thinks in a few days.

Showered and feeling better

A new turn of events...I was starting to go shower and a friend of mine called and said that everyones trucks were being turned down. 73 mph is all we can go... lol I complain because we were able to go 80 mph (we didn't use it) but at least we had the horse power.

Someone was pulled over again today for speeding and our boss has had it. I don't blame him I would turn anyone down that was speeding but allow the ones that ARE NOT getting pulled over or getting tickets to go 75. Hell that should give some of the incentive to do right...right.

Anyways I'm sitting in the Petro at exit 148 getting some chow before I head to Kansas City, Ks to deliver tonight. I love listening to truckers bullshit. Some of them are so funny telling stories about what they have done when you can tell that he (usually a he) is a rookie and full of it.

Lovely Drivers

I am over in Owensboro, Ky and I am getting loaded now. I arrived about 20 mins late so I'm in the dog house (not really I just don't like being late). I have a tire that is leaking air and I can't find the leak. I have to call my boss and see what he wants to do on that. I think I can nurse it back to the yard thou. So I receive the call to back into door 10. I go down to the docks u turn and line myself up to back in. I release the brakes and go to open my doors. Another driver is closing his and he walks up to me as I am moving the trailer brace and ask me why it says & Sons when a female is driving. OMG are you really that lame that you have to give me that bs story come on. So I look at him like he stupid and I told him that the "Sons" are the dispatchers. LOL u should have seen the look on his face. I should have just drooled on myself and started saying the alphabet.

I did tell one guy that I was a man but I had surgery to become a woman he just excused himself and walked away.

Addiction

I am ashamed of myself...Im addicted to Farmville. I can't help it.

Kentucky

A lot has happened since my last blog...My EX fiance and I got into a huge fight and we were both lucky to keep out jobs at a small company in Oklahoma. So I have been solo ever since October. Please forgive my lack of ability to put in commas and so forth I am working on this. I'm looking for some books to help me become more educated on this venture, (hey hey I used a big word)

So I am in Buckner Kentucky...HICK TOWN FROM HELL... From what I can see there isn't really nothing here but a salsa making plant. Woo Woo. I am currently getting unloaded at the salsa making plant. I brought 26,000 lbs of diced onions. I'm overjoyed at the thought can you not tell how happy I am. I have been sitting here since about 5pm today and its now 830pm Central time. So they will be done with me in about an hour. Hes really getting me unloaded pretty quickly...

Now I am faced with a problem of finding a place to park. I can go North 10 miles and maybe find a parking place there or I can go into Louisville, KY and NOT find a parking spot at all. I am going to ask the unloader if I can sit on there parking lot till morning, since I am not idling my truck they shouldn't have a problem with it.

My trailer smells of onions and in the morning I will have to get a wash out. FUN. There's 20 to 40 mins of a waiting game. Then I go to Owensboro, Ky to pick up a load that goes to Kansas City... Now I pick up tomorrow around 10 am then deliver in Kansas City at 3 am that night/morning piece of cake.

Now I went from Arkansas City KS to Newark NJ there is 132 miles deadhead(means empty trailer, the company makes NO MONEY but they still pay the driver .34 cents per mile) and 1385 loaded (thats with product on the trailer DUH). Then I picked up outside of Vineland, NJ to go to Buckner, KY thats 114 miles deadhead and 673 loaded. Total that 2277 miles at a rate of .34 cpm I made 774.18 now I took out about 60 dollars for myself so u get the picture. This is all that I will get paid for this week and this is coming back from being off for 4 days too...

Good Money, but not everyone can do this job
